In his role, Edgar collaborates closely with the executive team and various business units to plan, develop, and implement a comprehensive and proactive security program that aligns with the company's strategic goals and digital transformation initiatives. Drawing on his deep expertise in cloud-native architecture, IT operations, network infrastructure, and data governance, he designs and secures cloud services and infrastructure for Viking. Additionally, Edgar enables visibility and self-service security for stakeholders by utilizing dashboards and cloud micro-services.
